A bright new look you can choose, and two small fixes.
Added
Aqua Glass. A new look with a bright sky behind the page and glassy buttons. It only turns on if you pick it, in Settings under Look and feel. New students can also pick it during setup, where it takes Frutiger Aero's spot. Frutiger Aero is still in Settings.
Fixed
Removing something from your recent sites or Jump back in no longer loses your place when you're using the keyboard. You land on the next item.
Fonts are steadier while a page loads, so the start page moves around less.
v11.6.1: Better balance
November 5, 2026
The start page puts the right things first, and search suggestions line up again.
Changed
The time and Vee are bigger. The time is now the biggest thing on the page, and Vee has more room in the strip. Both scale with your window, so short Chromebook screens still fit on one page.
Jump back in takes up less room. It's now a slim list of the things you actually opened, with one line each, and Shortcuts gets about two thirds of the width.
No filler. Nothing to jump back to? The panel goes away and Shortcuts fills the space. Tools to try and Start something are gone.
The ad is smaller and quieter. It sits under your list, or at the very bottom of the page if you have no list.
On phones, Jump back in is the same short list.
Fixed
Search suggestions now line up with the edges of the search box and sit right under it, on the start page and in the address bar.
v11.6.0: A cleaner Re:Vault
November 5, 2026
A tidier start page, a new look, and flashcards that remember what you're about to forget.
Added
Flashcards now come back at the right time. Press Review and Re:Vault shows you the cards you're about to forget, then asks how it went: Again, Hard, Good or Easy. The start page and Island Mode show how many cards are due. A big deck won't land on you all at once, because new cards come in a few at a time. Study all is still there whenever you want to go through everything.
Learn, Test and Match. Three new ways to practice, made on your device from your own deck. They're free, with no daily limits, and we won't put them behind a paywall.
Play your deck. Answer your own cards in Snake or Meteor. Calm mode takes the timer away, so the game waits for you.
Exams in Flashcards. Add an exam and its decks, and your cards get spread over the days before it.
Flashcards settings. Choose how much you want to remember, how many new cards you get each day, and whether review mixes your decks or goes one at a time.
Cite this page. Open a tab's menu to get a citation in MLA 9 or APA 7, ready to copy or save to Citations.
Customize. A new link at the bottom of the start page takes you straight to what shows there. Clock, Vee, This week, shortcuts, Jump back in and recent sites each have their own switch, listed in the order you see them on the page.
Vencord (beta) for Discord tabs. It's optional and off by default, and it asks before it turns on.
Changed
A start page with real structure. Everything now lines up inside one centered frame: your greeting, the time and search across the top, then a strip with Vee and This week, then two columns of the same height, then your recent sites. Shortcuts fills its column in even rows, and See all has the rest. Jump back in sits beside it with the same tiles, and suggests tools to try when you're just getting started.
Hide This week and the strip goes, so the page closes up with no empty space.
Clean Solid is the new look. Dark ink with gold, and no glow or blur to slow things down. If you were on Bedazzled, you'll move to it once and get a message that lets you keep the old look. Bedazzled is still in Looks, and if you picked any other look, nothing changes. Clean Paper is its light twin.
New fonts. Bricolage Grotesque for headings and Figtree for everything else.
Friendly greetings only changes your greeting now. It used to hide This week too, so if you turned it off, This week is back. Its own switch hides it, and you can turn it back on without reloading.
About now says what What's new says: big updates are posted in the community server, and every update is on the Changelog page.
Fixed
Your flashcards and citations are safer. A save in one tab could erase something added in another, like cards from the Study Helper. Every save now starts from what's really stored, and if a save fails, you're told.
Uploaded music is more reliable. Adding 40 tracks at once no longer stops at 20, and adding and removing at the same time no longer loses tracks. A track shows in your list once it's really saved. If saving fails, Settings tells you, and you can try again without reloading.
Some websites got confused by how the Standard engine answered when they looked for something they hadn't saved. They now get the same answer a normal browser gives.
Very large websites that read a lot of their own code run faster on the Standard engine.
A slow or stuck connection can no longer hold up a Re:Vault update while it installs. After 8 seconds it stops fetching the extras and finishes.
